Citrus Salon an exclusive Aveda salon to open in River Place in Downtown Wilmington

Wilmington NC. December 2nd, 2020 – MoMentum Companies is proud to announce that Citrus Salon has finalized their lease for their new space at River Place in Downtown Wilmington” “With a grand opening scheduled for late spring 2021 owner, Alex May, knew downtown Wilmington was her destination and she is excited about being a part of the growth and energy of the River Place project”. stated MoMentum Companies President, Terry Espy. 

Alex May, a master stylist, has worked in exclusive salons over the years and has established a loyal following in the Wilmington area. A long-term resident of Wilmington, she relocated to the Caribbean on two separate occasions, both times returning to Wilmington. “My years abroad were a wonderful experience, but Wilmington always lures me back home. With the positive direction that downtown Wilmington is heading, it is perfect timing to move forward with my vision and River Place is the ideal location to open Citrus Salon” stated May. “When choosing the name of the business we thought about what we would best represent our vision as well as the ingredients our exclusive Aveda products are so well known for (all-natural hair colors, skin care and makeup).  The light crisp, clean, energy of “citrus” just fit.”
