Terry Espy’s career in real estate development and brokerage spans more than thirty years. She is currently involved in some of the most innovative, progressive projects in resurgent downtown Wilmington. She felt honored being asked to assist in the development of the commercial component of South Front District adjacent to Greenfield Lake Park by Tribute Company for the revitalization of that area. As part of the effort she secured famed eastern North Carolina chef, Vivian Howard and husband Ben, as a restaurant tenant in South Front. That is simply the latest in her efforts for directing Wilmington to become a “food destination”. Pinpoint Restaurant, The District, Tarantelli’s, Platypus & Gnome, Johnny Lukes are all recent examples of her development success in that area. On Castle Street Arts & Antique District, her boutique style of development is showcased with bringing back to life the historic Firehouse and assisting the 2006 HGTV Star Meg Caswell start her design business here in town. Throughout the downtown she has coordinated the sale and/or lease of numerous historic properties for upper level tech and business service companies, strengthening the zoning mix to support retail and restaurants. Terry utilizes an entrepreneurial approach to development, conquering complex projects and creating strategic partnerships. Her expertise is broad, ranging from turn-key real estate brokerage and development, site selection and entitlement, project design incorporating value engineering throughout, team leadership skills, interior design skills including programming, space planning and FF&E procurement, to graphic design and collateral production. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Terry has received numerous business honors including “Who’s Who in Outstanding Young Women”, Triangle Business Journal’s “Women in Business Award”, and Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s “Pinnacle Award”. She has been interviewed by The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine, Money Magazine and most recently, The Wall Street Journal. Joan Loch joined Momentum Companies, as a commercial real estate broker in 2017. She is a specialist at Momentum Companies for Business Sales, helping business owners in the tri county area sell their business. Joan is originally from Southern New Jersey where her career started in marketing with corporate companies such as Union Carbide, VPP Inc, and Acme Manufacturing. She ventured out on her in the mid 90’s to begin a consulting career in process development and project management with clients such as Dow Jones Business Information Systems, Curtis Young Company and EG&G Inc to name a few. A severe injury in 2003 side lined her until she and husband Mike relocated to NC in 2005. They purchased Crescent Moon, a gallery of fine handcrafted art glass and metal sculpture, which they owned and operated until September 2015. She is the owner and organizer of the American Craft Walk Wilmington held each September in downtown Wilmington, an event that premiered in 2016. Overall, her career spans 40 years accumulating experiences and expertise in marketing and business development. Joan additionally has board participation experience both in NJ and NC. Kennan Espy, raised in Cary, NC, has spent nearly a decade in Wilmington after living a short time in Arizona and Philadelphia. Graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in business and a minor in sustainability, he has over 10 years of experience in hospitality and sales. Kennan has been a broker with Momentum since early 2018, yet has been with the company for many years in the project management and development side of the business. His versatile history allows the ability to work in many directions of the real estate industry. A few local projects he has collaborated with include the South Front District, Floriana’s, and Warehovse 1856 as well as volunteering with DBA. He enjoys golf and spending time with his wife and their dog.

In 2002, after leaving active duty in the Army, Celeste Salzberg’s interests were peeked by her then business mentor. This led her to become a realtor. Since 2002, Salzberg has worked in several different Real Estate markets, including the Washington DC metro area and San Juan, Puerto Rico. From these multifaceted experiences, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the negotiating table. She is a multi-million dollar producer and has consistently been awarded membership into her companies' Executive Club. In 2017 Salzberg relocated to downtown Wilmington and has been very involved and passionate about the urban revitalization of the area. She is an advocate for Historic renovations and an expert in the downtown market. She is a frequent patron at the local establishments and can offer many recommendations to the best places to eat, drink, see shows and view all the arts that make up downtown. Salzberg says, "I feel a connection with people every day. I help them buy and sell their most precious asset- ‘their home’." When asked what drives her, she says, "The look on my clients' faces when I have made their dream into a reality.” Mission Statement: Revitalize the Wilmington urban market to create a strong, diverse community of neighbors and businesses that will in turn generate more wealth and camaraderie. Tyler Ruble, of Momentum Projects, specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant and multi-tenant commercial assets in the Wilmington/Greater Raleigh metro. Tyler has a wide range of real estate knowledge, giving unparalleled value for his clients. Prior to MoMentum, Tyler was an industrial broker, underwriting income producing, industrial assets with one of the nation’s largest investment sales firms. In the years prior, Mr. Ruble has facilitated complex debt structuring as a licensed loan originator. He also has firsthand experience with property management and development. Mr. Ruble attended Saint Cloud State University, in Minnesota. He graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship, specializing in Real Estate and Finance. Aside from his zest for real estate, he finds great joy in traveling the world. He has backpacked India, Thailand, Latin America and more. In his free time, he can be found at the beach, camping in the mountains, or enjoying time with family and friends

Amy Wilfong Brown moved to Wilmington in 2002 after a 10 year career in advertising sales in New York City. She has enjoyed working in real estate primarily in residential helping people buy, sell and invest in our wonderful community for the past 10 years. Sometimes known as "Downtown Amy Brown" because she loves the restaurants and arts and has worked in several downtown offices, she also serves all Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender county communities and beaches. She is thrilled to be with Momentum to expand her knowledge into commercial and business brokerage guided by Terry Espy's experience and expertise. Liz our office admin comes to us from Long Island, New York. There she spent 10 years as administrator, assisting many agents at Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. She also has background in accounting and bookkeeping and worked with a company putting technology into the NYC School Districts. Liz relocated to downtown Wilmington in 2019 and bought a wonderful Historic home downtown. Elizabeth holds a North Carolina Notary Public status and offers this complimentary service to our clients and neighbors, loves to be busy and help whomever needs assistance. When not working or visiting the many downtown establishments, She can often be seen walking the Riverwalk or at the Dram Tree Park with her 2 Great Danes.
