Downtown Nutrition, ILM, Continuing the Princess Street Growth
Wilmington NC. November 22nd, 2019 – We are proud to announce another outstanding business is joining the Princess Street growth and vibrancy. Shawn Blair, owner of Nutrition Revolution, located at 5101 Dunlea Court off New Center Drive will be bringing her vision for nutrition clubs to the downtown community. The new location recently opened at 240 Princess Street in what is known as the Wells building. Downtown Nutrition ILM will host their Mayoral Grand Opening on Tuesday, December 17th at noon, sponsored by the Downtown Business Alliance and Wilmington Downtown Inc.

About Shawn Blair – She is a proud veteran of the United States Navy,
where she served as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines at Camp Lejeune. She
credits her military service as introducing her to the role of becoming a
leader and having the ethics she uses daily to run her business. Educated in health and physical education at
Southeastern Louisiana University, she felt as though a role in education would
provide her the opportunity to make a difference in the community and in the
Global obesity epidemic. Once she moved back to NC in 2009 she was unable to
find a job in the local school system so decided to begin teaching nutrition
classes in the form of a 12 week Weight Loss Challenge.
Shawn is married to her spouse Shawn (yes it’s two Shawns!!) for 9 years, and they have a son Domonic and their faithful husky Niko. When not working at the nutrition clubs, or helping build her team, Shawn spends time with family RVing and enjoying hiking, paddle boarding and almost any outdoor activity.
